The tax is shifted to the recipient (reverse charge) according to art. 13b(2) of USTG. VAT has to be paid by the E.U. companies to DR. SOMMER + BURGMAIER, representative for tax purposes in Gemany (see invoice)

A RECEIPT OF REGISTRATION AND AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT BACK TO DELEGATES. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE BEFORE THE EVENT. IN CASE OF CANCELLATION BEFORE 29 MAY 2006, THE REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEES WILL BE DONE WITH A PENALTY OF 100 EUROS FOR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS. E.T.A.I. HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE REFUND OF FEES FOR CANCELLATIONS MADE AFTER 29TH MAY 2006, BUT THE DELEGATES MAY BE REPLACED.
