The SURFAIR congress is dedicated to manufacturers, Airlines companies, suppliers, materials and surface treatment experts.

Every two years and during two days SURFAIR will give you the opportunity to meet all together and exchange information about:

• Recurring topics: innovation in painting, new clean technologies, environmental challenges, technologies and processes, surface preparation, ...
• Specific subjects: organic materials, metallic parts preparation, Solgel application, anodizing proceedings.

TWO-DAYS TECHNICAL CONFERENCES

The first day of the conference will open with a speech of the GIFAS Association about Aviation crisis and remedies. During the evening, a cocktail will follow.
The second day will open by the intervention of Jean-Michel ESTRADE, Vice President of the AEROSPACE VALLEY CLUSTER .
The congress will be ending by the distribution of four SURFAIR AWARDS.

HISTORY

The 1st SURFAIR congress is born in 1970 in CANNES . The event was organized by the SURFACES magazine bought in 2003 by ETAI .

SURFAIR is supported by a technical committee constituted of professionals and coordinated by Gilbert FARKAS as a technical advisor.

After a long time spent in Cannes, then in Toulouse, SURFAIR took place in BIARRITZ in 2008, a city located in the South-West of France, which is a famous place of French Aerospace cluster.
